Portable Toilet Rental Questions

How much does portable toilet rental in Harrisburg, SD cost?

Pricing depends on the type of unit, how long you keep it, how many service visits are scheduled and how far the delivery runs from Harrisburg. A single standard unit for a weekend party sits at the low end, while ADA units, hand washing stations and restroom trailers cost more because of size, stocking and transport. Call (605) 699-0189 with your dates, location and headcount and we will quote the exact configuration instead of a guess.

How far in advance should I book a portable toilet?

For construction sites, a few business days is usually plenty. For weekend events between May and September, and for anything during graduation, fair or wedding season, two to four weeks is safer because trailers and ADA units are limited. If your timeline is shorter than that, still call — we route locally out of Harrisburg and can often fit same-week deliveries.

Do you deliver and pick up the units?

Yes. Delivery, placement, servicing and removal are all handled by our crew. We confirm the drop location before the truck arrives, set the unit on the firmest level spot available and haul it out at the end of the rental. You do not need equipment, a trailer or extra labor on your end.

What areas do you serve besides Harrisburg?

Our routes cover Sioux Falls, Tea, Brandon, Hartford, Crooks, Dell Rapids, Canton, Beresford and Worthing, plus surrounding communities such as Lennox, Baltic, Garretson, Madison, Salem, Parker and Viborg. If your site sits outside that ring, call and we will tell you honestly whether we can service it on schedule.

How often are portable toilets serviced?

Weekly service is the standard for construction and long-term rentals with a normal crew size. Higher-traffic sites, hot summer stretches and busy multi-day events often justify twice-weekly or event-specific service. Every visit includes pumping the tank, rinsing the interior, sanitizing contact surfaces and restocking paper and sanitizer.

What is included with a portable toilet rental?

A standard rental includes the unit itself, delivery and pickup, an initial stock of toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and scheduled service for the length of the rental. Ventilation, a lockable door, a urinal in most standard models and a non-slip floor come standard. Extras such as handwashing stations, added service visits or additional stocking can be added to any order.

Where should the unit be placed on my property or jobsite?

Choose firm, level ground within about 25 feet of where our truck can park, clear of overhead power lines and low branches. Gravel, packed dirt, asphalt and concrete all work. Avoid soft turf after heavy rain, steep slopes and spots that block gates or fire lanes. Tell us about narrow access or locked gates when you book so we send the right truck.

How many portable toilets do I need for my event?

A common planning benchmark is one unit per 50 guests for a four-hour event, adjusted upward when alcohol is served, temperatures are high or the event runs all day. Add at least one ADA accessible unit for public events and a handwashing station wherever food is served. Give us your guest count and hours and we will suggest a mix that keeps lines short.

Can portable toilets be used in South Dakota winters?

Yes. Winter rentals are common on construction sites here. We service on a schedule that accounts for freezing temperatures, use winter-appropriate tank treatment and choose placements where drifting snow and plow routes will not bury the unit. Keeping an access path shoveled on your end makes service visits far more reliable.

Do you handle long-term rentals and month-to-month billing?

We do. Multi-month construction rentals, seasonal park placements and open-ended remodels are billed on a recurring cycle that includes scheduled service. Rentals that run longer usually cost less per week than a single weekend drop, so tell us the expected duration up front and we will structure it accordingly.

Are your units cleaned between rentals?

Every unit is pumped, pressure-rinsed, disinfected, deodorized, restocked and inspected before it goes back out. Doors, latches, seats, vents and floors are checked, and anything worn is repaired or pulled from service. The unit that arrives at your site is not the same condition it left the last one in.

How do I get a quote or book a unit?

Call (605) 699-0189 any hour, email info@fallcrestportabletoilets.com, or use the request form on our contact page. Have your delivery address, dates, expected headcount or crew size, and any access details ready and most orders can be confirmed in one short conversation.

What happens if a unit tips over or is vandalized?

Call us and we will get out to right, clean or replace the unit. On public event sites and unsecured lots we can suggest placements that reduce the risk, such as tucking units against a fence line or grouping them where there is foot traffic and lighting. Damage beyond normal wear may be billed, and we always talk it through before invoicing.

Do you provide restrooms for weddings and upscale events?

Yes. Our restroom trailers include flushing toilets, sinks with running water, interior lighting and climate control, which is what most couples want for an acreage or barn venue. We coordinate placement with your caterer and tent crew so the trailer is convenient for guests but out of your photos.
